A-level field walks in the East End

Published:

Groups of A-level students have been visiting the School of Geography this term to take advantage of our offer of free guided field walks in the East End of London.

Walks through Mile End, the Ocean Estate, Stepney Green, Whitechapel and Spitalfields offer a starting point for thinking about Changing Places – a key part of the new A-level specification and a possible topic for the individual investigation which counts towards the final exam grade.

Here are Greenford High School students with their geography teachers Peter Mather and Niamh Mangan exploring E1 with the help of Kate Amis from the School of Geography.
